Axios Father Niko!

This weekend, February 15th, 2026, His Grace Bishop Gerasim ordained Father Niko Birbilis into the Holy Priesthood. Father Nikio’s ordination occurred at Saint Justin Martyr Orthodox Church with other parishes visiting to share in this joyous occasion. Father Niko’s ordination into the priesthood was preceded by his ordination to the Holy Diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop Alexander in 2023. Father Niko holds a Masters of Divinity from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. Before becoming a deacon, Father Niko worked at the Orthodox Christian Mission Center in Saint Augustine, Fl. lFather Niko is married to his loving and faithful bride, Matushka Kelsey, and together they have two beautiful children.
